Traditional Fitted Furniture and Burlington Guest Bathroom

Working in this beautiful three story Georgian property was a pleasure and this idyllic guest bathroom was situated on the top floor of the home meaning we had to work around the lower ceiling level and slanted angles … which in our opinion only makes the room that much more enjoyable to design and admire!

In keeping with the style of the house, our customer opted for Burlington fittings and fixtures throughout the room, including the stunning single ended claw foot bath, brass shower with recessed valve, overhead shower and handheld shower handset.

The traditional fitted furniture is the popular and high quality Calypso, in their Chiltern range, which as they boast themselves is ‘a timeless classic to compliment any room’. The great benefit to using fitted furniture is that you can choose your own fittings and accessories to suit your chosen style. Here, we’ve chosen the Burlington toilet, basin and mixer tap, added the brass knobs and finally the marble worktop.

Using an elongated mirror in the landscape orientation helps to extend the room, giving the illusion of more space. By choosing a HiB illuminated mirror, we’re able to add more lighting for the bathroom as well.

The finishing touches included further brass accessories such as the towel ring, toilet roll holder and radiator, but most importantly the exquisite Karndean Heritage flooring gives this room a depth of character and allows the classic white accent throughout the rest of the room to shine in all its glory.
