NBK designed and fitted a cloakroom and an ensuite bathroom for us last year. This review is a little late! Our requirements were quite specific for health reasons, and the design team (James) were helpful, flexible, knowledgeable and supportive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our ensuite bathroom required builders work as well as new sanitary ware and finishes. We had some clear ideas of our own but they brought it to life with good advice and the sourcing of specific items eg a non-slip shower tray. The choice of products and finishes is broad and to our taste, and they easily sourced alternative finishes where required. The installation team were also excellent. The fitter (Sean) was the most considerate contractor we have ever had in our house! We needed the circulation areas to be clear and safe for walking on a daily basis and NBK went out of their way to ensure this happened. Everything was explained as the job progressed. They listened and helped us work out solutions with good suggestions and were friendly and polite throughout. We trusted them completely. There have been a couple of snags which were dealt with promptly without any fuss. I cannot recommend NBK highly enough!

After being let down by another company we approached NBK to undertake the full refurbishment of an en suite and a partial refurb of our main bathroom. From the moment we entered the showroom in Diss to the day of completion we were very impressed by the professionalism, efficiency, friendliness and helpfulness of everyone involved in the process. The installation was completed within the given time schedule and we were consulted at every stage during the installation. They were a fantastic team from Tony and Stuart at the planning stage right through to the installation team. Damian, ably assisted by Ben completed the work and not only did they do a wonderful job of the work. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. They made every effort to cause as little disruption as possible, cleaning and clearing up at the end of each day. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality service which has ended up with the perfect en suite for us. Thank you to all involved.

The replacement of my shower room and en suite bathroom- from start to finish I was really impressed with the communication, quality and complete professionalism of clearly a well run company. Initial meeting with Stuart in the showroom was knowledgeable, allowing me to look around asking questions without the pushy sales talk. James who came round to talk through design and produce plans, listened to my needs and came up with impressive computer designs... Finalising plans with these 2 and their expertise was fun, not rushed and felt like time being spent with friends, making me feel completely confident.

All the team who entered my home, kept to time, were respectful to me working from home. Shaun and Lee who did the bulk of the stripping and refitting were absolutely brilliant, knowing their stuff - The trust they built with me was great as they checked all the smaller details and their expertise also shone here. The project management was fantastic as the extra trades people (electrics, plastering, and woodwork) all kept to schedule. They all left their work spaces clean and safe.

I would recommend NBK to anyone who wants a complete start to finish service and after service- nothing was too much and I look forward to revisiting when deciding to do my kitchen.

My wife and I chose NBK to have two bathrooms in our house. A family bathroom, and the master en-suite. It was our first large project for our small home, and we were nervous! We chose NBK after taking several quotes, much agonising and a few meetings with the team in the Norwich showroom and at our home. Our project was a complete refit from the studs including moving walls, new electrics and redesigned plumbing.

We could not be happier.

From the initial meetings with James and Megan, through James’ survey, Ryan’s site visit, and finally Dan’s installation we have been thoroughly impressed. The organisation and process has been slick and professional. Our requirements for the rooms have been completely worked into the design and the result is stunning, far more than we expected. The team are quietly and obviously exceptional. I’m sure we have had far more design meetings than expected, and James and Megan especially should get extra qualifications in marriage counselling. Our design included a basin and stand which we sourced ourselves, and the NBK team even went as far as to draw it for the CAD design so we could see how it looked during the design process. Installing a product they did not supply didn’t even raise an eyebrow.

Dan’s professionalism and expertise were very much evident throughout the install, which was on time and efficient. We’ve never appreciated the obsessive tile layout and design so much! We have two dogs, and the team happily worked around them and our shift work. Dan even made sure the dogs had toilet breaks when we were working nights. We have been included in all decisions and updated throughout the process. The back-office team is responsive and the project management from Ryan and Millie has been second to none. A couple of items from the initial specification weren’t required and without question were removed from the final bill. Even Blake’s post project clean up was precise and efficient, our home was tidier when you left than when you arrived!

We are thrilled with our new bathrooms. We have enjoyed the entire process. The value for money far exceeds cheaper suppliers and NBK’s experience is truly the difference. Though the guarantee is reassuring, given the expertise on evidence throughout the project I am sure it will not be required. We can’t thank you guys enough. In summary, 11 out of 10, we wholeheartedly recommend, and we will be back for future projects.

Fantastic, trustworthy and thoroughly professional experience with NBK. We had our Victorian terraced house box room converted from scratch into a small ensuite bathroom. Very meticulous in everything they do, from the initial quote to the full costings and of course the work itself. Ran to time and budget, no hidden costs, and they responded / troubleshooted excellently to any unforeseen setbacks (bound to be a few in an old house like ours!), such as installing us a temporary sink when the unit we had chosen was temporarily out of stock, then coming back to install ours a few weeks later. Dan was really kind and a pleasure to have in the house. We’re really happy with the result and having such a long warranty is an added bonus. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

NBK installed a beautiful bathroom designed with my father in mind as he has mobility issues. They also reconfigured our stairs so they could be suitable for a stairlift. They have been amazing, getting the stairs done swiftly so my parents didn't have to stay away for very long. The bathroom was done while they were here. The workmen were so helpful and charming going above and beyond while they were here. They have thought of everything, making sure there was electrical point for stairlift which I wouldn't have thought of. The finish is exceptional. Everyone at NBK has been a joy to speak to and made the process a pleasure and we will miss them!

We had a bathroom refit, including new bath and panelling, w.c. flush+housing, shower unit; including adjusting its height from the floor and the demolition of a wall; re-plastering of ceiling and walls, plus re-tiling of part of the walls and new flooring. When the work began, we were impressed by the thoroughness of all the contractors, but most especially with Richard, the principle fitter, who was throughout reliable, professional and suitably cautious given the age of our property and the problems this threw up.

From our first visit to the showroom to get ideas and then the initial design and choice of products, Megan, James and Stuart were incredibly helpful and shared their knowledge of what would work for us. From design to finish, this was a good experience. We are delighted with the service provided, the quality of the work undertaken and the customer service provided. Very impressive organisation! Due to personal reasons we unfortunately weren’t able to commit to having our bathroom remodel completed with NBK, however we feel compelled to leave a review here as we were very impressed with the operation NBK are running. From first contact with Stuart, through to the survey and design process with James the NBK team were extremely helpful, responsive and professional. For those looking for a high quality and stress free bathroom/kitchen remodel I have no doubt that NBK would do a great job. James especially was extremely thorough in his approach and was a pleasure to deal with. Obviously I can’t comment on the actual building work as we weren’t able to proceed (for our own reasons, nothing to do with NBK) but based on the professionalism of the initial stages (survey, plans, design, communications) I’m sure that it would have been high quality. A year after purchasing a house with a one year old Wren kitchen we noticed the Corian/Stainless Steel sink, incorporated into Corian worktops, leaking. As the Wren warranty was not transferrable, they showed no interest whatsoever in assisting us with the problem. Enquiries with several kitchen/Corian installers were fruitless, all saying they were not interested in correcting someone else's work, until we visited NBK in Diss, Norfolk. We were fortunate in meeting Gareth, the M.D. of the company who immediately expressed an interest in our problem. Also at that time my wife admired the floor tiling in the showroom and said she would like the same tiles fitted in our kitchen. Gareth visited our home later in the week and, together, we discussed how the existing Corian sink could be replaced with an alternative option. The agreed work progressed smoothly. We were kept informed at all stages of the project and the site operative, Dan, worked diligently to complete the work with the minimum amount of disruption. Upon completion, 6 working days later, a final inspection was carried out by a NBK manager in our presence. We were very pleased with the finished work and all aspects of the project from inception to completion. After 47 years in the industry, with a BSc in Construction Project Management, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building prior to retirement, I am very pleased to recommend NBK for their positive, professional outlook and on-site capability.
